7. Facilities Coordinator (Exec.)


Role title
Facilites Coordinator.

Brief outline
Member of the Executive Commitee of the club. The principle point of contact for owned, managed and rented facilities.

Reports to
Chairperson.

Responsible for
Bar secretary and Social Secretary.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage relationships and contracts with external providers of facilities to ensure they are fit for purpose and value for money.
  • Licensee of the club bar.
  • Produce and maintain Health and Safety Risk Assessments and reviews.
  • Ensure everything on the grounds and training facilities are safe for players, spectators, staff and visitors.
  • Identify ahead of time and deal with in a timely manner all facility related issues that may comprimise the clubs ability to provide league hockey.

Attributes need for this role
Organised, external communicator.

Training / Qualifications / Experience / Knowledge needed
Awarenss of contracts, league requirements for provided facilities.

Estimate time required to give for role
4-5 hours per month.
