Gum shields, shin pads & face-masks

England Hockey and FHC strongly recommends wearing shin, ankle and mouth protection whilst playing hockey.

In line with the FIH rules of hockey (The Rules of Hockey 4.2), England Hockey and FHC strongly recommends that face masks should be worn across all age groups and playing formats when defending a penalty corner.

Players and Parents/Guardians are responsible for providing their own/childs Safety Protection and Equipment and ensuring its use when playing or training.
